7th Hills & Dales Challenge Walk 2009.
for the Chernobyl Children's Project (UK).

The 2009 event will take place on Saturday 5th September 09.
Three separate walk/run distances. These are 7 miles, 10 miles and 22 miles.

START and finish at High Ash Field Study Centre GR 048653

7 mile route a circular route taking in Hall Hill, Sycamore Farm, Heath House, Longnor, Fawside, Harding Booth, High Carr back to High Ash.

The 10 and 22 mile route go out taking in Hall Hill, Boosley Grange, Hayes Cottage, Warslow, Ecton, Archford Moor, Lower Hurst Farm, Hartington where the 10 mile route finishes and entrants will be returned to the start by Mini bus.

The 22 mile route will continue to Pilsbury, Vincent House, High Peak Trail, Sparklow, Earl Sterndale, Hollinsclough back to High Ash.


Start Time: Walkers 8am, Runners 9am


Entry cost £7 for 10 & 20 mile route

£5 for 7 mile route

£10 all routes on the day entries

Included in cost, refreshments & drinks at each checkpoint and substantial meal at the finish.

Overnight accommodation if required on Friday 4th September Rooms with en suite contain 4/6/8 bunk beds (use own sleeping bag and towels). Breakfast included all for £15 per person.
